Let’s Engage! www.engagefi.com\nPosition Summary:\nThe Events Coordinator organizes and implements marketing communication projects. Coordinates public image campaigns and special events. Participates in creating brand awareness through advertising and social media. Arranges proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports. Prepares status reports on marketing efforts by communicating with appropriate sales and marketing managers.\nEssential Functions & Additional Responsibilities:\nPerforms research to gain deep understanding of different requirements and details of each event, such as vendor showcases, tradeshows, webinars, and case study videos; plans and organizes events accordingly within financial and time restraints \nResearches, compares, and negotiates different vendors, events, and engagements on a consistent basis; Engages industry thought leaders to participate in our events; and plans, schedules, and organizes time slots and speakers at events; Tracks industry conferences and other events and make recommendations to leadership \nCollaborates with subject matter experts to ensure events deliver quality content for our target demographic \nWorks with sales team to ensure smooth handoff of marketing qualified leads generated through events; assists with graphics, web design, and event promotion campaigns \nCollaborates with Marketing Team to develop nurture campaigns and boost registrations, newsletter subscriptions, and increase brand awareness \nTracks the overall event expenses regularly, analyzes and evaluate event’s results, and prepares event summaries, updates, and reports for leadership team \nResearches and books appropriate venues and travel accommodations for internal and external partners \nRequirements\nRequired Skills & Competencies:\nProven experience in event planning or event coordination in a corporate environment \nTrack record of coordinating creative, successful events \nExcellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills \nAbility to remain calm under pressure without losing a customer-service oriented attitude \nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and other related software \nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred \n1-2 years of experience coordinating events or in a similar role \nExperience working in graphic design, sales, marketing and communications specialties \nEvent management platform experience, such as C-Vent \nVideo and sound editing experience a plus \nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer \nMust be able to lift up to 15-30 pounds at times \nPosition Type/Expected hours of Work:\nFull Time/ 40 hours per week \nLocation:\nRemote - Orlando area \nRequires travel to the office as needed for event preparation \nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
