CERT are seeking a skilled Rail Trainer & Assessor to join our Queensland team on a full-time, part-time or casual basis.\nThis position is required to provide quality training and assessment services which incorporate the following:\nCompliance with regulatory standards.\n\nParticipation in performance evaluation and development opportunities.\n\nHigh-level vocational understanding for products and services delivered.\n\nParticipation in courseware reviews including moderation and validation.\n\nParticipation in industry placement to ensure vocational currency.\n\nThis role will report to the Training Manager and collaborates closely with our Queensland Team.\nAbout You\nEssential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:\nIndustry experience within the Rail sector.\nCertificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.\nRelevant Industry currency and experience in the field associated with the training delivery.\nA detailed understanding of industry training packages and associated qualifications and units of competency. \nExperience in the delivery of training programs and professional development to persons engaged in the VET sector.\nMust have knowledge of and ensure compliance to legislation and industry standards. These include;\nNational Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act (2011)\n\nVET Standards for RTO’s 2015 or most current; and\n\nJurisdictional occupational health and safety and vocational industry-related acts and regulations as they relate to the program being delivered.\n\nDemonstration of high-level interpersonal communication skills, clearly and effectively in both formal and practical environments.\nEffective use of the Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications. \nAbility to manage own work priorities and job requirements in a timely and effective manner, meeting and negotiating deadlines. \nAbility to self-manage participation and work autonomously in professional development activities to increase skills, knowledge and capability to adhere to standards and guidelines. \nDesirable Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:\nA minimum of five years’ experience in the vocational training area/s being delivered.\nAccredited trainer for Queensland Rail’s QR3.2 SARC & QR2.15 WET or ability to obtain this requirements. \nExperience working in the Queensland Rail network.\nAbout Us\nCERT Training, a subsidiary of Engenco Limited operates Australia wide and delivers nationally accredited training.
