Inspired by our purpose (raison dêtre) we reconcile economic performance with a positive impact on people and the planet building on our key businesses (gas renewable energy services) to offer competitive solutions to our customers.\nAbout the job:\nBusiness Line: AMEAReporting to: Construction DirectorPrimary Location: At Site- KSA (Two sites 300Km Distance):Employee Status: PermanentSchedule: Full TimeKey activities and competenciesFor the construction of this project in the region ENGIE is seeking an Engineering Manager to manage all technical and engineering-related matters and ensure the successful execution and delivery of utility-scale projects in the Middle East.\nThe Engineering Manager will lead follow up and coordinate all basic and detailed design review activities on behalf of the Owner during the construction of utility-scale facilities.\nResponsibilities (Two sites 300Km Distance):\nLead and coordinate the basic and detailed engineering design review for utilityscale projects in coordination with the Owners Engineer EPC (BOP&OEM) Contractor Project Company and O&M team.\nAct as the single technical authority for all this project engineering matters during design construction and commissioning phases.\nReview and approve BOP&OEM engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications grid codes safety standards and ENGIE engineering requirements.\nDefine and validate system architecture including technology protection schemes auxiliary systems and control philosophy.\nPerform and validate system sizing configuration redundancy philosophy and layout to meet performance availability and lifecycle requirements.\nCoordinate and oversee grid integration engineering\nSupport procurement activities through technical evaluation of vendor offers review of specifications compliance matrices and participation in technical clarifications.\nCoordinate technical interfaces between BOP contractors OEM grid operators consultants and authorities to ensure alignment across all engineering disciplines.\nMonitor engineering progress identify technical risks and interface issues and implement mitigation measures to avoid schedule cost or performance impacts.\nMaintain and update the engineering risk register including risks related to safety constructability grid compliance operability and longterm performance.\nLead technical oversight of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and ensure equipment compliance with contractual and technical requirements.\nProvide engineering support during installation commissioning testing and performance validation to ensure compliance with approved design.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable safety fire protection environmental cybersecurity and regulatory requirements relevant to projects.\nDevelop and implement engineering best practices standards and review processes to ensure consistency quality and efficiency across projects.\nPrepare and present technical reports engineering assessments and design review summaries to internal and external stakeholders.\nKey relationshipsInternal:Project Company Management and site supervision team Employees Owner Engineering team Contractors & Subcontractors\nHead of Engineering MENA\nInternal Stakeholders representatives & visitors\nExternal:SPPC and SEC\nLenders Engineer and other external inspectors / auditors.\nBOP and Supplier\nExternal consultants\nGovernment and administrative authorities\nRequired QualificationsQualifications:\nBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.\nExperience:\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in utilityscale power or renewable energy projects including design integration testing or commissioning activities.\nProven experience leading the engineering of largescale or hybrid projects from concept and detailed design through construction commissioning and handover.\nSolid knowledge of applicable international standards and codes\nExcellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nExperience working in the Middle East region.\nExperience working with SEC for substation.\nExpertise to deal with Chinese EPC player for large solar projects are a plus.\nFluency in English is required;
