In this role, you support analysts and business objectives while covering the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and deployment.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain business applications in Java.\nBuild application components and web services.\nContribute to the design of architectural components and technical building blocks in collaboration with the technical lead and software architects.\nTake part in technical working groups, Scrum ceremonies and, when needed, meetings with end users.\nSupport testing, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.\nWork in complex, integrated environments and quickly understand existing code bases.\nHelp guide junior team members and integrate smoothly into an established team.\nYour profile\nYou have at least 5-7 years of full-time professional experience in Java development, ideally in a full-stack role.\nYou have experience in project teams delivering greenfield applications from scratch.\nYou are familiar with multi-system integration and complex technical landscapes.\nYou have strong practical knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework.\nYou have experience with JPA and Hibernate.\nYou are comfortable with security patterns, including Spring Security.\nYou have hands-on experience with SOAP and RESTful web services.\nYou have worked with Spring Batch, SOA, microservices and CQRS.\nYou apply test-driven development and continuous integration practices, using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Cypress and Selenium.\nYou combine front-end knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular with solid back-end development skills.\nYou are familiar with Maven, Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift, SVN or Git, Eclipse or IntelliJ, Sonar, JBoss and Tomcat.\nYou have experience with relational databases and O/R mapping, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server.\nYou can read and understand BPMN, UML and technical documentation standards.\nYou work comfortably with Jira and Confluence.\nKnowledge of Talend, ZK, Oracle or Kafka is a plus.\nYou are familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nYou are solution-oriented, customer-oriented and strong in problem solving.\nYou have an active knowledge of French or Dutch, both spoken and written, including technical documentation.\nYou communicate effectively in English, especially in writing and within the team.\nOffer\nYou will be part of a growing Belgian SME where initiative and personal development are encouraged.
