The role requires a thorough understanding of collections and disbursement processing, solid general financial accounting knowledge and strong SAP FS-CD configuration skills. You will help deliver tailored insurance solutions and support regulatory compliance.\nFunctional consulting and configuration\nAnalyse insurance business requirements related to collections, payments, receivables, disbursements and account management.\nLead workshops with business stakeholders and process owners.\nTranslate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP solution designs.\nAssess gaps between standard SAP FS-CD functionality and business requirements.\nRecommend standard SAP functionality where appropriate and limit unnecessary custom development.\nConfigure and maintain SAP FS-CD functionality across all functional areas.\nConfigure and set up the SAP FI-CO integration.\nDocument business processes, functional requirements, configuration decisions and solution designs.\nDefine functional requirements for interfaces between FS-CD and other SAP or non-SAP solutions.\nSpecify posting and accounting requirements.\nWork with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, APIs, jobs and data flows.\nAnalyse integration errors and determine whether the root cause is business data, configuration, interface logic or custom development.\nSupport end-to-end reconciliation between source applications, FS-CD and financial accounting.\nDesign and document detailed functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms (RICEF).\nConduct unit testing, integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).\nProvide comprehensive training and documentation.\nRequired qualifications and experience\nExpert knowledge of the FS-CD functional architecture, including configuration of the subledger Process Model and the definition of G/L integration with SAP FI-CO.\nAt least 4 years of dedicated, hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP FS-CD.\nStrong expertise in integrating SAP Core Insurance systems, such as FS-PM, FS-CM and FS-ICM.\nStrong understanding of collection and payment processes in at least one major insurance line, such as P&C/Non-Life, Health or Auto.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nLanguage\nGood English.\nFrench is a plus.\nLocation\nNearshore/offshore.\nYour profile\nExperience as a medior functional analyst.\nEnglish.\nDutch or French.\nFamiliarity with C is a plus.\nOffer\nYou will be part of a growing Belgian SME where initiative and personal development are encouraged.
