You translate business requirements and user journeys into secure, responsive, reusable and maintainable portal solutions.\nPortal and UX design\nTranslate business requirements and user journeys into portal concepts, wireframes, prototypes and detailed interface designs.\nDesign responsive, accessible and intuitive user interfaces for internal and external users.\nDefine and maintain reusable UI patterns, components, navigation structures and design standards.\nMaintain a consistent user experience across portal applications and integrated SAP processes.\nWork with business analysts, process owners, architects and end users to validate designs.\nAngular development\nDesign and develop web applications with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript.\nBuild reusable Angular components, modules, services, forms and shared libraries.\nAnalyse and resolve application defects and performance issues.\nSAP integration\nIntegrate portal applications with SAP and other enterprise back-end systems.\nConsume REST APIs and SAP services, including OData-based services where applicable.\nWork with SAP technical teams on service contracts, authentication, authorisation, data models and error handling.\nSupport end-to-end business processes in which the portal provides the user-facing layer for SAP transactions or business services.\nArchitecture and security\nContribute to front-end and portal architecture decisions.\nEnsure that solutions follow enterprise architecture, security, identity, accessibility and development standards.\nParticipate in technical design reviews and assess the impact of changes across the portal landscape.\nRequired qualifications and experience\nEssential\nStrong professional experience with Angular and TypeScript.\nStrong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and modern JavaScript/ECMAScript.\nExperience designing and developing responsive web applications.\nExperience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs.\nUnderstanding of application security, browser security, accessibility and web performance principles.\nEffective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams involving business analysts, UX specialists, SAP developers, integration specialists, architects, testers and infrastructure or security teams.\nAbility to document and explain technical solutions clearly.\nSAP-related experience\nExperience integrating web applications with SAP back-end systems.\nUnderstanding of SAP OData services and APIs.\nUnderstanding of SAP authorisation concepts and enterprise integration patterns.\nExperience working in environments that contain SAP business processes and data.\nExperience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to translate business requirements into practical technical designs.\nOptional experience\nExperience with SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 and an understanding of how these differ from custom Angular applications.\nExperience with SAP API and integration technologies.\nExperience with enterprise identity providers and Single Sign-On.\nExperience with Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD tooling.\nExperience modernising or replacing legacy enterprise portals.\nKnowledge of responsive design and component-based design systems.\nAbility to challenge requirements constructively when they create usability, security or maintainability issues.\nOwnership of the work from initial design through implementation and production support.\nLanguage\nGood English.\nFrench is an advantage.\nLocation\nNearshore/offshore.\nYour profile\nExperience as a medior application developer.\nDutch or French.\nEnglish.\nOffer\nYou will be part of a growing Belgian SME where initiative and personal development are encouraged.
