If you're ready to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the material handling industry, apply now and become part of our exciting journey!\nSenior Project Manager\nDepartment: Project Management / Operations\nReports To: Chief Commercial Officer\nLocation: Easley, South Carolina\nWork Arrangement: Fully onsite, five days per week\nTravel: Up to 25%\nPosition Summary\nThe Senior Project Manager leads complex industrial manufacturing and material-handling projects from order acknowledgment through delivery, installation, and closeout. This position is accountable for project scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction while coordinating customers, system integrators, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.\nAreas of Responsibility\nDevelop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables.\nServe as the primary project contact for customers, system integrators, contractors, suppliers, site personnel, and internal stakeholders.\nCoordinate project activities across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Shipping, Field Services, and Installation.\nReview contracts, purchase orders, specifications, drawings, and other project documents to confirm requirements and identify risks.\nMonitor engineering releases, material availability, production, inspections, shipping, site readiness, installation, and startup activities.\nLead project meetings, document decisions and action items, and hold responsible parties accountable for assigned deliverables.\nTrack project costs, forecasts, invoicing milestones, schedules, quality requirements, and key performance indicators.\nIdentify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and coordinate corrective actions to minimize customer impact.\nManage scope changes, including documentation, pricing, approvals, schedule impacts, and change orders.\nMaintain accurate project records and provide regular status reports to customers and leadership.\nEnsure compliance with contractual, safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nResolve project conflicts and escalate issues that may affect cost, schedule, quality, or delivery.\nLead project closeout, including customer acceptance, final documentation, financial reconciliation, and lessons learned.\nSupport continuous improvement of project-management procedures, tools, and reporting practices.\nSkills and Abilities\nAdvanced knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and project controls.\nAbility to lead multiple complex projects and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.\nStrong understanding of industrial manufacturing, structural steel fabrication, warehouse automation, construction, or material-handling systems.\nAbility to interpret contracts, purchase orders, technical drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and project schedules.\nExperience managing project finances, scope changes, contracts, and change orders.\nStrong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nAbility to conduct effective meetings and present project information to customers and senior leadership.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, project-management software, document-control platforms, and technical drawing-viewing applications.\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field required. Equivalent education and directly related experience may be considered.\nMinimum of seven years of project-management experience in industrial manufacturing, construction, engineering, warehouse automation, material handling, or a related environment.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex projects involving customers, system integrators, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.\nProven experience managing project scope, contracts, budgets, schedules, risks, documentation, delivery, and installation.\nProject Management Professional certification strongly preferred.\nExperience working within an ISO 9001-certified quality-management system preferred.\nKey Performance Indicators\nAchievement of project milestones and delivery dates.\nPerformance against approved budgets and financial targets.\nAccuracy and timeliness of project reporting and documentation.\nEffective management of project risks, scope changes, and corrective actions.\nCompliance with contractual, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.\nCustomer satisfaction and successful project close-out.\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nThis fully onsite position operates in office, manufacturing, installation, and customer-site environments. Travel of up to 25% may be required. The role may involve prolonged sitting, standing, walking through industrial or construction sites, reviewing technical documents, and using a computer. Employees must follow all safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment.
