The company relies on certified, qualified, and experienced staff and provides high-quality services to the industry.\n\nPosition Overview\nEATECH is hiring a Civil Engineer for a full-time role based in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria.\n\nRole Summary\nThe successful candidate will become part of a forward-looking team that values creative problem-solving and accurate execution. The Civil Engineer will create, plan, and manage construction work that contributes to community development and better living standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Supervise and manage all site-based civil works, including structural concrete, excavation, and earthworks, so that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and strictly according to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and international building codes.\n\n Distribute daily work assignments to masons, carpenters, steel fixers, equipment operators, insulators, and civil labourers, and explain structural layouts, reinforcement drawings, architectural blueprints, and site survey layouts to the workforce.\n\n Plan the most efficient order for excavation, rebar tying, formwork erection, and concrete pouring; oversee civil subcontractors; and detect design conflicts early so they can be resolved with the engineering team.\n\n Apply strict no-exception safety standards for civil work, run daily tool-box talks, and confirm that Job Safety Analyses (JSA), deep excavation permits, and working-at-height Permits to Work (PTW) are valid.\n\n Inspect scaffolding, shoring systems, trench benching, and heavy earthmoving equipment each day, and monitor concrete slump tests, cube sampling, and correct curing methods.\n\n Use survey data to check the level, position, and alignment of foundations, structural columns, and anchor bolts;
