Lead Technical & QC/QA Department\nLead and manage engineers and QC/QA personnel.\nPlan, organize, and improve the Technical and QC/QA functions.\nSet clear department standards, responsibilities and follow-up procedures.\nEnsure timely technical and quality support to internal teams, customers and suppliers.\nBuild a culture of accuracy, accountability, discipline and continuous improvement.\n\n2. Technical Support & Product Application\nProvide product and application-related technical support to internal and external customers.\nSupport Business Development and Sales teams with technical advice, product comparison, and application guidance.\nAnalyze technical issues and propose practical solutions.\nDevelop and maintain technical documents, product guides, and training materials.\nTranslate technical information into clear explanations for customers and commercial teams.\n\n3. QC/QA Management\nDevelop, maintain, and improve QC/QA processes, inspection plans and quality standards.\nEnsure internal QC/QA procedures are properly followed and documented.\nConduct root cause analysis for technical and quality issues.\nImplement corrective and preventive actions.\nEnsure the QC/QA team meets internal, external and customer audit requirements.\nMaintain control of inspection records, test reports, certificates and quality documentation.\n\n4. Engineering Change & Drawing Control\nManage, track and catalogue engineering changes for every SKU.\nMaintain clear visibility of product engineering changes, drawing revisions and technical specification updates.\nEnsure each SKU has proper engineering history, including what changed, why it changed, when it changed and who approved it.\nControl technical drawing revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings are used internally and by suppliers.\nAssess how engineering changes affect product dimensions, performance, application, certification, packaging, inspection requirements and customer approval status.\nDefine whether a change requires a new SKU, revised drawing, customer approval, supplier requalification or updated inspection plan.\nPrevent uncontrolled changes to products, drawings or specifications.\nEnsure Business Development, Supply Chain, QC/QA and suppliers are informed of approved engineering changes.\nMaintain proper version control for drawings, specifications, technical documents and product records.\n\n5. Internal Workflow & Risk Control\nReview internal department workflows and identify loopholes, weak controls and failure points.\nDesign practical workflows to prevent errors, miscommunication and costly mistakes.\nWork with Business Development, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and Technical teams to align responsibilities and checkpoints.\nDefine approval processes, escalation rules and documentation requirements.\nEnsure critical technical and quality decisions are properly recorded and followed through.\n\n6. Supplier Quality Management\nEstablish and maintain supplier QC/QA requirements.\nConduct supplier audits, surveillance checks and supplier qualification assessments.\nEnsure suppliers comply with EESG’s specifications, drawings, inspection standards and quality requirements.\nReview supplier inspection reports, test reports and quality documents.\nWork with suppliers to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.\nAlign supplier QC/QA plans with EESG’s internal standards.\n\n7. Supplier Control of Change\nPut in place a supplier control-of-change process for critical materials, tooling and processes.\nEnsure suppliers seek approval before changing coating chemicals, plating chemicals, heat treatment processes, tooling, dies, raw materials, critical dimensions, packaging specifications or other quality-sensitive items.\nAssess the technical and quality impact of supplier changes.\nCoordinate testing, sample approval or requalification where required.\nEnsure approved supplier changes are reflected in the relevant SKU records, drawings, specifications and QC/QA plans.\nPrevent unauthorised supplier changes that may lead to product failure, customer complaints or certification issues.\n\n8. Customer Complaint Handling\nEstablish and manage a structured customer complaint handling process.\nEnsure complaints are recorded, investigated and resolved in a timely manner.\nLead technical investigations and root cause analysis.\nCoordinate with Business Development, Supply Chain, QC/QA, suppliers and customers until closure.\nPrepare investigation findings, corrective actions and customer response reports.\nConvert complaint lessons into engineering updates, supplier improvements or internal process changes where required.\n\n9. Product Testing, Certification & Compliance\nObtain and maintain product certifications required by target markets.\nCoordinate with testing laboratories, certification bodies and external parties.\n·Manage technical submissions, testing schedules and certification documents.\n·Ensure certificates, test reports and compliance records are properly maintained.\nEnsure engineering changes are reviewed against certification and customer approval requirements.\n\nRequirements\nDegree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of relevant engineering, QA/QC, supplier quality, manufacturing or technical support experience.\nExperience leading engineers, technical staff or QC/QA personnel is preferred.\nStrong knowledge of QA/QC systems, inspection methods, supplier quality control and engineering change control.\nAble to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, inspection reports and test reports.\nExperience with supplier audits, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action follow-up.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.\nHighly organized, hands-on, proactive and able to follow through until issues are closed.\n\nPreferred Experience\nExperience in any of the following will be advantageous:\n·Fasteners, hardware, metal components or construction-related products\nEngineering change control / ECN / drawing revision control\nCoating, plating, heat treatment or manufacturing processes\nISO 9001 or quality management systems\nCAPA, 8D, 5 Why or Fishbone analysis\nSupplier control-of-change systems\nProduct certification management\nProcess mapping or workflow
