Reporting into the Systems Infrastructure Team, this individual will serve as a primary driver of network engineering initiatives including counterparty integrations, new office buildouts, and ongoing network projects. \nThis role is designed for an experienced, collaborative professional looking for a growth opportunity. While network engineering will be the initial focus, the breadth of responsibilities is expected to expand over time. \nThis is an on-site role based out of our New York City office, five days a week.\nKey Responsibilities \nLead network projects at the firm, including counterparty integrations, new office buildouts, and ongoing network initiatives \nDesign, implement, operate, and support network infrastructure across all layers of the environment \nManage routing, switching, and firewall systems \nSupport and expand cloud networking capabilities, particularly within AWS \nDevelop and maintain scripting and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency \nEnforce and evolve network security best practices and controls \nCollaborate cross-functionally with other infrastructure team members on shared projects and priorities \nRequired Skills, Qualifications and Experience \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field \n5-10 years of experience in a network and/or network security role \nStrong expertise in traditional networking - routing, switching, and firewall systems \nProficiency in scripting and/or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar) \nWorking knowledge of security best practices and controls \nSuperb communication and strong project management skills \nAbility to learn new platforms and technologies quickly \nFamiliarity with public cloud environments, particularly AWS \nFinancial industry experience helpful, but not required \nThe base salary for this role is anticipated to be $200,000-$250,000, excluding potential bonuses, additional compensation, and benefits.
