Sr. Technical Consultant - .NET

We are seeking an experienced Sr. NET Technical Consultant to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade, cloud-first applications. This role demands deep technical expertise. NET Core, modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular), cloud platforms, and robust integration architecture. You will serve as a senior technical authority, guiding delivery teams, collaborating with global stakeholders, and driving digital transformation initiatives across multiple geographies.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Technical Development and Architecture:

• Define technical standards, architecture decisions, and ensure adherence to coding best practices across the team.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions and detailed system designs.
• Conduct comprehensive technical reviews, including code reviews, design reviews, and performance audits.
• Mentor and guide developers across backend, frontend, and integration domains.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and global stakeholders to drive solution design and delivery.
• Champion engineering excellence and Agile best practices across all sprints and delivery cycles.

Cloud-First Integration and Data Migration:

• Design and develop REST APIs, microservices, integration interfaces, and enterprise-grade middleware.
• Evaluate and implement architecture patterns optimised for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and deployment strategies.
• Lead cloud-native architecture design and implementation using Azure or AWS services.
• Drive cloud adoption strategies for SME clients, aligning technology solutions with business goals.

Support, Quality and Troubleshooting:

• Oversee technical support, production issue analysis, and performance optimisation.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for complex technical issues.
• Ensure delivery quality through rigorous testing standards, automation frameworks, and performance benchmarking.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tooling, and frameworks.

Client Engagement and Consulting:

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to SME clients, providing strategic guidance on technology implementation.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into actionable technical roadmaps.
• Present architectural proposals and technical recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and ensure alignment between delivery outcomes and business objectives.

Training, Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, architectural diagrams, and best practice guidelines.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and engineering workshops for internal teams and clients.
• Support onboarding, coaching, and continuous skill development of engineering team members.

Requirements:

• 8-12 years of hands-on experience in software development with deep expertise in. NET Core, C#, and front-end frameworks (ReactJS/Angular).
• Strong experience in ASP. NET Core (Web API/MVC), Entity Framework, SQL Server, and modern application architecture.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, component-based UI architectures, and responsive front-end development.
• In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud architecture, and enterprise system integration.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, security design, and scalable, cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills with proven ability to engage international and C-level stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like JIRA or Azure Boards.
• Hands-on exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS cloud services, or modern DevOps practices.
• Demonstrated experience in tech lead, module lead, or senior consultant roles overseeing delivery teams.
• Prior experience working with SME clients in an implementation or consulting capacity is highly preferred.
• Industry certifications in Microsoft, Cloud, or Architecture domains are a strong advantage.
