You'll make real technical trade-offs and help define how we build as the company scales.\nIf you enjoy designing systems that hold up under load, debugging the hard stuff and seeing your work directly impact customers, you'll have plenty of room to make a difference here.\nAbout the role\nEvery lead found, every signal detected and every message sent on Enginy runs through our backend. As usage grows, so do the volume, the integrations and the reliability bar and that's the problem space you'll own.\nWe're looking for an engineer who does more than execute tickets: someone who owns problems end to end, from design to production to observability.\nDesign → build → ship → observe → scale\nWhat you'll own\nCore services: build and maintain scalable, reliable services that power our core engine\nAsync workflows: work with async architectures, data pipelines and workflow orchestration with Temporal\n APIs & integrations: design and implement production-grade APIs and integrations with external platforms (CRMs, LinkedIn and more)\nPerformance & reliability: optimize performance, debug complex issues and ensure strong observability across the system\nEnd-to-end delivery: collaborate closely with Product, Design and Frontend to ship complete features with a focus on quality, reliability and speed\n Engineering standards: help shape engineering practices, code quality and architecture as we scale\nAbout you\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus\nStrong experience with TypeScript and Node.js\nSolid understanding of modern API design and async workflows\nExperience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar)\nAbility to work autonomously, debug complex issues and ship high-quality code\nStrong communication skills and an advanced level of English\nBias for action and ownership you thrive in a fast-moving startup\nNice to have\nExperience with workflow engines (e.g. Temporal), distributed systems or microservices\nExperience with Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka or third-party API integrations\nCI/CD practice with GitHub Actions\nExperience in early-stage or fast-scaling startups\nInterest in B2B SaaS, sales tech or automation tools\nHiring process\nWe've designed our hiring process to be close to real engineering work.
