You'll lead from the code, set the technical direction for your team, and help define how Enginy builds as the company scales. You'll join early enough to shape the architecture, standards and culture at a stage where customer demand already creates real engineering challenges.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDepending on your background and strengths, you will take ownership across one or more of the following areas:\nBackend\nBuild and maintain scalable, reliable services powering our core engine.\n\nWork with async architectures, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration (Temporal).\n\nDesign and implement production-grade APIs and integrations with external platforms (CRMs, LinkedIn, and more).\n\nOptimize performance, debug complex issues, and ensure strong observability.\n\nFrontend\nDevelop high-quality, responsive web applications using React + TypeScript.\n\nOwn customer-facing dashboards, campaign builders, reporting UIs, and supporting API layers.\n\nWork on internal tools, SSR/edge rendering, and lightweight Node.js services.\n\nFocus on performance, Core Web Vitals, and developer experience.\n\nCross-functional\nCollaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.\n\nShip end-to-end functionality with a clear focus on quality, reliability, and speed.\n\nHelp shape engineering practices, code quality, and architecture as we scale.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For (Must-Have)\n4+ years of professional software engineering experience (Backend, Frontend, or Full-Stack).\n\nStrong experience with TypeScript and either Node.js or React.\n\nSolid understanding of modern API design, async workflows, or web architectures.\n\nExperience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).\n\nAbility to work autonomously, debug complex issues, and ship high-quality code.\n\nStrong communication skills and an advanced level of English.\n\nNice-to-Have\nExperience in early-stage or fast-scaling startups.\n\nFamiliarity with workflow engines (e.g., Temporal), distributed systems, or microservices.\n\nKnowledge of UI performance optimization, design systems, or a11y testing.\n\nCI/CD practice with GitHub Actions.\n\nInterest in B2B SaaS, sales tech, or automation tools.\n\nBasic exposure to full-stack work, even if your focus is mainly Backend or Frontend.\n\nHiring process\nWe’ve designed our hiring process to be close to real engineering work.
