You will be responsible for responsible for developing HSE Management System in line with Eni HSE Requirements and providing field supervision and technical support to ensure effective implementation and enforcement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and standards across all ENE operations.\nMain responsibilities\nSupport the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the HSE Management System across project activities.\nProvide HSE advice and support to both office and field teams across agriculture, logistics, processing, storage and port operations.\nEnsure activities are carried out safely, with minimal environmental impact and in compliance with project requirements and local legislation.\nSupport the implementation of environmental programmes, including Environmental, Social & Human Rights Management Plans and waste management processes.\nEnsure compliance with environmental requirements, permits and applicable legislation.\nDevelop and support HSE initiatives, campaigns and programmes designed to improve safety performance and strengthen HSE leadership and culture.\nPromote a proactive safety culture and support the achievement of the company's HSE objectives.\nEnsure incidents are appropriately reported, investigated and closed out, with corrective actions effectively implemented.\nCommunicate lessons learned from incidents and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.\nMaintain and communicate HSE performance statistics, KPIs and reporting, ensuring accurate monitoring against project targets.\nConduct regular HSE inspections and audits, identifying areas of non-compliance and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport the development and implementation of an effective Emergency Response Plan covering all project activities.\nAttend pre-job, planning and contractor meetings, providing HSE guidance and ensuring agreed actions are followed through.\nProvide regular HSE updates and reporting to the Project Manager.\nSkills and experience required:\nDegree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years' HSE experience within Oil & Gas, construction, industrial or agro-processing environments.\nExperience within agribusiness, oil processing, food production or similar industries would be an advantage.\nKnowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.\nNEBOSH, IOSH or an equivalent internationally recognised HSE certification.\nStrong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and with local communities.\nComfortable working in remote and challenging locations and adapting to different working environments.\nDemonstrated ability to mentor, coach and develop national/local staff.\nProficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.\nA proactive and practical approach to identifying risks, improving HSE performance and developing a strong safety culture.\nHow to apply:\nApplications are only accepted through our online application system.\nPlease upload your CV in English.\nAbout Eni\nEni is a global energy company operating in 61 Countries, with over 30,000 employees.
