Join us and make a real difference, be part of a team that is driving progress, sustainability, and positive change in Iraq and the energy industry worldwide.\nMain responsibilities:\nReceive and review all invoices posted by the Accounting Department of EIBV/ZFOD (Zubair Field Operating Division).\nEnsure that all supporting documentation is compliant before releasing payments in SAP for approved invoices in both local and foreign currencies.\nPost treasury-related transactions in SAP and ensure that all treasury activities are carried out and recorded effectively and efficiently in accordance with Eni Iraq B.V. Finance policies and procedures.\nAssist in the preparation of payment proposals.\nPrepare vendor ageing reports and manage communications with vendors.\nAct as custodian of the Petty Cash Fund in USD and IQD, and disburse payments as required.\nPost daily petty cash transactions in SAP, prepare monthly petty cash reconciliation statements, and monitor petty cash advances, ensuring supporting receipts are obtained and advances are settled promptly.\nConduct periodic cash counts in accordance with the Company's Petty Cash Operating Procedure.\nSkills and experience required:\nUniversity degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nRelevant experience as an Accountant, preferably within the oil and gas sector.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency in written and spoken English.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite.\nExperience of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, SunSystems, Navision, or similar accounting systems.\nHow to apply:\nApplications are only accepted through our online application system.\nPlease upload your CV in English.\nAbout Eni\nEni is a global energy company operating in 61 Countries, with over 30,000 employees.
