Join a growing, industry-leading aerospace manufacturer where your work makes an impact and your career can take off.\nPosition Description:\nPerform general cleaning and maintenance duties of the shop machine equipment, facility grounds, and building in clean, orderly, and functional condition. Fix and repair facility and machines as needed. Provide assistance to other maintenance and janitor staff plus shop workers as necessary.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nDisassemble CNC machine coolant and chip conveyer systems to perform routine coolant change/flush.\nMaintain specific TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) schedule of CNC machines - such as, but not limited to: maintain coolant levels, oil levels, filter cleaning or replacing, machine wipe down.\nAbility to learn and use our CMMS (Preventative Maintenance Software) on a PC to service, clean and inspect equipment periodically following established PM’s (preventative maintenance). \nProperly lubricate and maintain equipment as per the manufacturer recommended lubrication schedules.\nProperly mix cleaning chemicals and agents to manufacture spec or as directed by management\nAid in keeping the facility machines working in proper running order\nSafely operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, hand trucks, lifts, etc.\nMaintain facility to highest standards, endure that everything works as needed. Able to find issues that could lead to future problems/failure\nProperly apply troubleshooting knowledge to diagnose or repair CNC machines.\nUse job specific cleaning solutions to properly maintain the facility to its fullest ability while respecting company and personal property that may need to be moved \nTake notice of possible safety issues that might arise - Example: Oil, coolant, water, etc on the floor - properly mop up and fan dry\nProperly mix cleaning chemicals and agents to manufacture spec or as directed by management while keeping all chemicals used labeled to comply with OSHA and EPA standards\nIdentify and report possible safety and maintenance issues to manager\nSafely use basic hand and power tools such as a drill press, power saw, torch, grinder etc\nQualifications:\nCommunicate appropriately with other employees, building strong rapport with machine operators\nMust be able to work independently and as a member of a team\nHas understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\nKnowledge of low voltage and single phase electric.
