They may use these tools to cut, sand, drill, face, and turn materials to manufacture or repair parts.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nRead blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications\nCalculate dimensions\nInspect the workstation to ensure that the machine and other equipment are in working order, set up machine and load materials into it.\nPay attention to tool settings to remain within tolerances.\nAdjust controls to correct for variations in tool settings.\nMonitor the machining process to ensure quality and precision\nMake adjustments to the machine settings as needed.\nPerform routine maintenance\nInspect finished products using variety of inspection tool (calipers, mics, etc)\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nWorking knowledge of machine equipment, tooling, and processes\nStrong verbal communication and problem-solving skills\nAttention to detail and ability to deal with complexity\nCapable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven
