Join a growing, industry-leading aerospace manufacturer where your work makes an impact and your career can take off.\nPosition Description: The Manufacturing & Process Engineer is responsible for determining methodology and designs behind producing parts, writing code for CNC machines, as well as creating blueprints and set-up sheets for shop use.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nDetermines methodology in which the part will be produced\nDesigns fixturing, including modeling and making drawings of necessary components\nDesing processes for various departments (Machining, Forming, Laser, Bench, Tig weld, etc.)\nWrites code for CNC machines using NX software and customer supplied solid models\nConfirms process validity by utilizing Vericut simulation software\nCreates blueprints/set-up sheets for shop use with proper dimensioning and tolerancing\nRoot cause analysis and corrective action implementation\nQualifications:\n5+ years’ experience in manufacturing/machining environment\nKnowledge of cutting tools/techniques\nKnowledge of different types of machines - 3, 4, 5-axis milling, turning, multi-function\nKnowledge of different metal types - Aluminum, Stainless, Titanium, High Nickel Alloys, etc.\nKnowledge of common/current metal removing processes/techniques\nKnowledge of sheet metal forming\nKnowledge of Laser programing/machining\nKnowledge of Tig welding and fixturing\n2+ years’ experience programming CNC equipment\nKnowledge of G and M code programming\nExperience NX user - drafting, modeling, and CAM modules\nKnowledge of common 3D model types\nExperience working with 3D models\nExperience with CGTech Vericut is a plus\nGeneral computer experience\nMicrosoft Office products -
