Join a growing, industry-leading aerospace manufacturer where your work makes an impact and your career can take off.\nPosition Description: Quality Inspector will perform in-process and 1st article inspections, evaluate part to print specifications and understand the inspection methods used for inspection and support the manufacturing process and personnel, while adhering to the Quality Policy, AS 9100 requirements. Position reports to the Quality Manager and takes daily direction from the Inspection Supervisor. You will receive a 20% night shift premium.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nStrong blueprint and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) comprehension\nAble to use inspection tools, such as micrometer, indicators, comparator, etc\nDetailed to complete all paperwork, as required, including inspection reports\nAble to make mold casts to check ID dimensions\nAbility to identify dimensional and visual defects\nAble to understand and implement customer specifications and requirements\nAccuracy and attention to detail is highly important\nExperienced with completing 1st article inspections, in-process inspections and final inspections\nKnowledge of aerospace specifications and requirements preferred.\nPerform other duties as required\nQualifications:\nProficient at reading blueprints\nKnowledge of dimensional symbols\nAbility to identify visual defects\nAbility to read micrometers, calipers and comparator\nKnowledge of measuring equipment\nAbility to work together for team effort\nTeam oriented\nOrganized and detail oriented\nAdherence to document control requirements\nKnowledge of various inspection reports\nGeneral computer knowledge\nAbility to work without supervision\nThe posted pay range reflects the range established in good faith for this position.
