The Quality Inspector must understand the inspection methods used and support the manufacturing process and personnel, while adhering to the Quality Policy and AS 9100 requirements. Position reports to the Quality Manager and takes daily direction from shift Lead personnel. The position is for night shift Monday - Friday also includes a 20% shift differential.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nInterpret blueprint and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) requirements\nComply to customer specifications and requirements\nUse inspection gages such as micrometers, test indicators, Faro Arm, and optical comparator\nInspection with CMM machines / coordinate systems\nComplete in-process inspections and final inspections as required\nMake mold castings and interpret results using optical comparator\nVisual inspection for defects and UVC’s\nComplete all paperwork, as required, including inspection reports and CMM report review\nQualifications:\n5+ years at reading blueprints & GD&T (aerospace preferred)\n5+ years of inspection gaging and visual experience (aerospace preferred)\n5+ years of manufacturing experience including understanding of document control and job operations\n2+ years of coordinate measuring machines / systems is a plus.
