This includes ensuring that the shift contributes to the increased profitability and growth of the store and ensuring our customer’s needs are met every step of the way. We empower our employees/ team members to step outside the box to ensure we offer the best in class service to all of our customers each and every day.\nPRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nMust be able to work a flexible schedule as needed. Communicate verbally and in writing with various management on store operations in a very quick timeline especially any changes or items that may adversely affect the store’s operations.\nMust be able to interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner\nPrepare a shift report at the end of the shift as per company guidelines.\nMust be 18 years of age or older\nCustomer Service\nProvide the best customer experience to every customer\nGreet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting\nSuggest possible purchases to the customers and promote specials\nAssume full responsibility for the execution of our customer service program at the site level\nSafety & Station Appearance \nResponsible for doing what is necessary to minimize the safety risks to employees, customers and suppliers.\nAssure all environmental and hazardous material regulations are strictly enforced\nMaintain safety and security of the store and document any accidents or incidents that occur\nManage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store\nOperate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently\nsupport implementation of our Safety and Health program\nPromptly Report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses\nComplete the new employee safety orientation procedure\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nRead, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.\nHaving the ability to validating Identification prior to selling tobacco and/ or alcohol (as per required under regulations).\nCan lift up to 30 pounds, and carry cases of milk cartons and soft drinks, beer and juice containers through proper lifting techniques\nAbility to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies.\nTolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products;\nAbility to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in various weather conditions, and in the store)\nPerform general housekeeping duties as needed\nMust be 18 years of age\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nEnsures physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of all store facilities\nPerforms other related duties as required\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times\nMust be able to traverse and access all areas of the store\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer\nProlonged periods of standing\nBenefits: Eligible team members may participate in medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) savings plan, paid time off, paid holidays, company-paid life insurance, disability benefits, employee assistance programs, tuition assistance, and voluntary benefit offerings.
