For more information about Enovis, please visit www.enovis.com.\nWhat You'll Do\nSummary.\nIn a manufacturing environment, drives the long-range strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations, including manufacturing itself. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all production activities to ensure that the manufacture of goods and/or services meets volume, quality, and cost requirements efficiently within the established timeframe.\nResponsibilities.\nDirectly responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving production methods, utilizing knowledge of Industrial Engineering norms, product Design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, manpower capabilities, and quality standards, as well as controlling scrap.\nPlans, establishes and manages the objectives and operating budgets of the department.\nManages all the production activities through subordinate managers applying knowledge of plant layout and the production capabilities of each business unit.\nEstablish action plans for the team, which is your responsibility, and assign strategic functions to facilitate the workflow.\nSupervises and evaluates procedures designed to upgrade production methods, equipment utilization, and the quality of the finished goods.\nResponsible for conducting performance evaluations to his direct staff and recommending relevant development/succession/training plans fostering the growth of his department.\nPlans investigations to determine the effectiveness of manpower utilization and project labor and staffing needs.\nLeads R&D meetings concerning NPI, transfers, expansions, and development of product engineering concepts, projects, and manufacturing, among others.\nReview engineering designs for customer requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement in quality and value through awareness, objectives, goals, communication, and target setting with security, quality, services, and cost.\nFormulates, negotiates and manages the department’s objectives and budgets, as well as the strategies and action plans to achieve those objectives.\nStrives to ensure the accuracy of forward-looking information through effective planning and awareness of future events.\nDrives team members to continuously improve key operational metrics and achieve organizational goals.\nValidates and authorizes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the production functions.\nResponsible for selecting, training, motivating, and developing the production acting as a facilitator.\nAligned and effectively collaborated with corporate offices.\nDirects its staff to ensure the correct launch of BOM's, routings, test equipment, PM's Set up, packaging, drawings, pilot tests, control plans, among others.\nEstablishes metrics and monitors project progress. Provides timely feedback to your Staff ensuring compliance with established objectives.\nDirects continuous improvement projects in conjunction with OpEx (Operational Excellence).\nInteract with corporate functional areas (R&D, Marketing, Quality, Distribution, Customer Care) ensuring that internal / external customers receive answers in a timely manner.\nEstablishes operating procedures and standards (SOP's) for all engineering functions.\nResponsible for keeping updated job descriptions updated according to the approved procedure.\nQualifications.\nDegree in Industrial engineering, Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electronic Engineering.
