The team supports manufacturing operations by performing inspections, managing nonconformances, and driving continuous improvement to ensure product reliability and on-time delivery\nJob Title/High-Level Position Summary:\nThe Quality Control Technician assists Quality Engineering, with inspection activities and key quality system activities. This role supports Quality Assurance personnel to ensure compliance with quality system regulations and contributes to business and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and persistent in following up to ensure actions are completed accurately and on time.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop inspection sheets for implants, instruments, and associated components \nDraft first article inspection sheets for incoming inspection \nDevelop overlays for optical comparators \nWrite and route Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) \nRun, analyze, and publish reports related to site quality metrics \nPerform receiving, in-process, and final inspections \nInterpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements \nUse measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment \nSupport calibration activities and maintain equipment traceability \nApply statistical techniques including SPC, Cp, and Cpk \nUtilize quality tools such as Pareto charts, control charts, and histograms \nSupport structured problem-solving efforts (5 Whys, 8D, RCA) \nManage nonconforming material and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities \nSupport internal and external audits and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) \nMinimum Basic Qualifications:\nMinimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training \nDemonstrated ability to use computers effectively, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft \nProficiency in mechanical inspection techniques and inspection equipment \nExperience tracking tasks, actions, or projects and following up to completion \nAbility to communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal English \nTravel Requirements:\nUp to 10% of travel may be required.\nDesired Characteristics:\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field (preferred but not required) \nStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills \nExperience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device experience is a plus) \nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-based environment \nWorking knowledge of SolidWorks and overlay creation/printing \nCurrently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
