As the company expands its new product development (NPI) projects and installs new reliability test equipment, this role is essential for ensuring stable and efficient laboratory operations.\nThe technician will work closely with engineers and follow established test procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all reliability tests are performed safely, accurately, and on schedule. This is a field-oriented position that requires attention to detail, responsibility, and strong adherence to standard operating procedures.\nResponsibilities:\n\nReliability Test Operations (Hands-on Operation)\nPerform tests using environmental chambers, vibration systems, pressure/force testers, and other reliability equipment\nPrepare test setups (sample loading, fixture installation, setting input parameters)\nMonitor test conditions during operation and report abnormalities to engineers\n\nTest Recording & Data Management\nRecord test conditions, start/end times, and trial logs\nEnter test data into lab systems or spreadsheets\nManage samples (labeling, storage, post-test handling)\n\nEquipment Management & Safety Compliance\nPerform daily/weekly equipment checks\nSupport calibration and maintenance scheduling\nFollow safety guidelines and report potential hazards\n\nReliability Equipment Setup & Improvement Support\nAssist with installation and configuration of new equipment\nSupport fixture replacement, component assembly, and test setup improvements\n\nEngineering Support\nOrganize test data and assist engineers with assigned tasks\nProvide field feedback during procedure revisions\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nExperience\n0-3 years of experience (experience with electrical, electronic, or mechanical equipment preferred)\nExperience in a manufacturing lab or equipment operation is a plus\n\nKnowledge & Skills\nAbility to operate equipment and perform hands-on field tasks\nAccuracy in performing repetitive tasks based on SOPs\nBasic MS Excel data entry skills\nBasic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts\n\nTraits & Work Attitude\nAttention to detail, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility\nAbility to communicate and report abnormalities promptly\nInterest in equipment-based tasks and willingness to learn\nAdditional/Preferred Skills\n\nExperience / Knowledge\nExperience with environmental or reliability
