We are passionate about what we do, and we are looking for high-current, high-voltage individuals to join our team.\n The Cell Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling lithium-ion battery cells in a temperature- and humidity-controlled dry room environment. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, steady hand-eye coordination, and strict adherence to manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols. The technician plays a critical role in producing high-quality battery cells that meet engineering and customer specifications.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform assembly of lithium-ion battery cells following documented work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nAssemble battery components including electrodes, separators, tabs, pouches, and electrolyte.\nOperate small hand tools, precision fixtures, torque tools, and specialized assembly equipment.\nInspect materials and completed assemblies for defects, contamination, alignment, and quality specifications.\nPerform dimensional measurements and visual quality inspections throughout the assembly process.\nMaintain accurate production records, travelers, inspection documentation, and traceability information.\nHandle sensitive battery materials using proper electrostatic discharge (ESD) and contamination-control procedures.\nWork within a low-humidity dry room while following all appropriate PPE practices.\nIdentify quality concerns and notify supervisors or engineering personnel of abnormalities.\nMeet established production, quality, and safety goals.\nMaintain an organized, clean, and safe work area utilizing 5S principles.\n Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Two-year technical or Associate Degree preferred.\nAt least 2-4 years of hands-on manufacturing or assembly experience. Experience performing detailed manual work using small components.\nExcellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with frequent use of hands and fingers to manipulate small components.\nAbility to distinguish small defects through visual inspection.\nAbility to follow written work instructions and manufacturing procedures.\nBasic computer skills for documentation and production tracking.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality\nKnowledge of health and safety laws pertaining to production operations. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may include: respirator, face mask, gloves, protective eyewear, safety shoes, protective suits, shoe coverings, and head coverings. Will require work in dry room setting with low humidity level for extended period of time.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to sit or stand for extended periods.\nAbility to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.\n NOTE:\nCalls or referrals from recruiters will not be returned or accepted for this position.
