The Field Service Technician will travel to customer facilities to lead, manage, and provide hands-on work regarding the process of disassembly, repair, and assembly of different subassemblies or complete mechanical and/or forging presses.\nEssential Functions Performed by the Position\nEnsure team is performing work in a safe manner, wearing all required PPE at all times.\nLead, manage, and supervise both customer and Enprotech employees in any maintenance and press repair actions.\nAct as a customer site liaison for daily activities and planning.\nAssemble, repair, and rebuild manufacturing equipment from component parts in accordance with standard operating procedures to customer specifications.\nRead, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.\nDisassembly and reassembly of metal forming presses which also requires rigging, fitting, scraping, grinding, adjustment, etc.\nInstalls lubrication blocks, lines, and general plumbing (i.e., pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.).\nTroubleshoots hydraulic lubrication systems to determine necessary repairs to regain functionality.\nAligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.\nPrepares and utilizes basic hand tools including but not limited to ratchets, impacts, torque multipliers, hydraulic torque wrenches, magnetic drills, and hydraulic jacks.\nVerify that parts are prepped, deburred, and free from defect prior to assembly.\nPerform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards using process inspection tools and devices.\nOperate small lathes and mills to polish small parts and make keys.\nOperate cranes, forklifts, and other rigging equipment.\n Qualifications\nRequired Education and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to troubleshoot machines to diagnose problems.\nAbility to demonstrate knowledge of basic electrical codes including knowledge of pulling wire, electrical components, switches, high voltage, and control centers.\nAbility to read and interpret schematics, plans, and operating manuals.\nAbility to fit fluid lines and pipes.\nAbility to assemble and disassemble parts and systems.\nAbility to “think outside the box” and figure out problems associated with production operations.\nMust be able to verbally communicate with team members, supervisors, and Engineers.\nMust be able to work in confined spaces.\nMust be able to work with solvents, oils, and grease.\nTravel Requirements\nUp to 100%\nAdditional information\nThe benefits of joining our team\nBecause we seek to hire the best people, we work hard to provide benefits that make their lives better, so we offer a comprehensive benefit program which features:\nhealth coverage for you and your family through medical, dental, and vision plans\na 401(k) plan in with a generous company match\nfinancial protection through disability, life, and accidental death & dismemberment insurance plans\ntax advantages through flexible spending accounts that allow you to pay for specific health-care and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars\na generous paid time off program in which the benefits increase along with your tenure with the company\nWhen you join our team, you do more than simply switch companies to progress your career.
