This role goes beyond traditional controlling. You will be a strategic partner for management and operations, owning critical financial processes, driving meaningful improvements, and enabling decision-making through transparency and actionable insight. You will work closely with cross-functional teams - especially in production, engineering and senior leadership - to shape how we plan, measure and steer financial performance.Key Responsibilities:\nOwn and continuously improve the company-wide budgeting and forecasting process.\nMaintain, develop, and optimize internal and external financial reporting.\nDrive internal improvement projects, with a strong focus on information structures, data quality, and process efficiency.\nActively participate in cross-functional, company-wide projects.\nAnalyze the value flow across engineering and manufacturing and provide optimization insights to management.\nSupport the team with ad-hoc analyses, including complex data queries and deep-dive evaluations.\nServe as a trusted sparring partner by providing expert input on controlling and financial matters.\nWhat this position is not: \nNot a role focused solely on reporting or recurring Excel tasks.\nNot a position where processes and systems are “finished” and only need maintenance.\nNot a purely back-office function, removed from operational reality.\nNot limited to transactional activities without strategic impact.\nType of contract: Full time position with 38.5 hours/weekSalary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 3654,05 gross per month on a full-time basis (38.5 h/week), with a planned significant overpayment of EUR 5000-5800 depending on your professional experience and qualifications.\nYour profile\nAcademic degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on Controlling or Accounting.\n3+ years of experience in a controlling role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong proficiency with ERP systems (experience with BMD is a plus) and BI tools.\nSolid understanding of commercial and production-related processes.\nHigh analytical capability with a strong affinity for numbers and digital processes.\nStructured thinker who enjoys optimization, innovation, and working with complexity.\nCommitment, precision, and conscientiousness in delivering results.\nExcellent English communication skills; German language skills are considered a strong advantage. \nProject management experience and the ability to drive improvements end-to-end.\nProven ability to establish scalable processes, implement systems, and drive continuous improvement in a growing organization is highly desirable.\nWhy us?\nAt ENPULSION, you’ll join a young, international team united by a deep passion for space technology and innovation.
