We want you to enjoy working with us.\nPosition Summary:\nAs a Senior Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery and optimization of technical solutions in support of a value stream team. This role bridges business needs and technical implementation by analyzing complex systems, defining detailed requirements, and supporting the design and delivery of end-to-end capabilities aligned with the team’s objectives. The Senior Systems Analyst collaborates with product owners, architects, developers, testers and stakeholders to understand business processes, document system behaviors, identify gaps, and translate strategic goals into actionable stories and technical specifications. Whenever possible, solution design should be modern, flexible, scalable, and decoupled.\nRequirements\nTechnical Skills\nStrong Data Engineering experience, including data modeling, data transformation, and data integration.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based data solutions.\nStrong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.\nExperience with Python for data processing, querying, validation, and automation.\nHands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.\nExperience with data mapping and transformation logic.\nUnderstanding of system architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and data integration patterns.\nAbility to read and interpret system architecture diagrams and technical specifications.\nExperience with GitHub or other version control systems.\nUnderstanding of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).\nExperience with project management tools such as Jira.\nFamiliarity with secure data handling, particularly sensitive financial data and PII.\nBusiness & Communication Skills:\nAbility to work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.\nAbility to create clear technical documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with AWS CDK / Infrastructure as Code.\nExperience in the insurance or financial services industry.\nAWS certifications.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and specifications aligned with project objectives.\nDesign and support the implementation of scalable, flexible, and efficient technical solutions.\nCollaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.\nEvaluate existing systems, architectures, and processes to identify opportunities for optimization, integration, and improvement.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and technical processes.\nPerform technical assessments and support solution delivery, ensuring quality standards and project timelines are met.\nInvestigate and troubleshoot technical issues during implementation and post-deployment to minimize business disruptions.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews, to support timely delivery.\nRecommend architectural improvements and technical best practices to
