EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. \nDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nIn this role, you will:\nPrepare transportation and civil engineering designs, plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports for infrastructure projects.\nSupport transportation roadway design, horizontal and vertical alignments, intersection improvements, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, erosion control, traffic control and cross section modeling.\nSupport site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility projects.\nAssist with project permitting and regulatory compliance activities at the local, state, and federal levels.\nConduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support project planning and design decisions.\nCoordinate with environmental scientists, geologists, planners, surveyors, and other engineering professionals.\nReview project drawings, technical documents, and contractor submittals for quality and compliance.\nParticipate in field investigations, site assessments, data collection, and construction observations as needed.\nSupport project managers with scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and client communications.\nPrepare technical memoranda, reports, permit applications, and engineering documentation.\nCollaborate directly with clients and regulatory agencies to advance project objectives and maintain compliance.\nEnsure work products meet company quality standards and applicable engineering regulations.\nSKILLS/EXPERIENCE\nMinimum Skills and Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.\n4+ years of professional civil engineering experience.\nExperience preparing engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, and design calculations.\nWorking knowledge of stormwater management, drainage design, grading, utility design, and site development principles.\nFamiliarity with applicable engineering standards, regulations, and permitting requirements.\nProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, and Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a collaborative consulting environment.\nPreferred Skills:\nEngineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license with ability to obtain licensure in the near term.\nExperience in civil engineering consulting, or related professional services.\nFamiliarity with municipal, industrial, transportation, or private development infrastructure projects.\nExperience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.\nProject management experience, including client interaction and budget management.\nWhy Join EnSafe?\n Employee-Owned AdvantageEnSafe is 100% employee-owned, with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) since 1997.
