This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across industries including chemical manufacturing, aerospace, pulp and paper, automotive, oil and gas, and industrial manufacturing.\nAs a Process Safety Engineer, you will partner directly with clients to improve process safety performance, support regulatory compliance, and reduce operational risk. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of projects involving OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), EPA Risk Management Programs (RMP), process hazard analyses, and industrial safety programs. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. \nDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nIn this role, you will:\nSupport the development, implementation, and auditing of Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.\nParticipate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), including HAZOP studies and other risk assessment methodologies.\nAssist with PSM compliance audits and evaluations of OSHA PSM program elements.\nDevelop and maintain process safety information documentation.\nSupport the development and implementation of mechanical integrity programs.\nPrepare standard operating procedures and process safety documentation.\nDeliver and support PSM-related training initiatives.\nAssist clients with Management of Change (MOC) programs and procedures.\nSupport EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) audits and compliance efforts.\nParticipate in combustible dust hazard assessments and other industrial safety evaluations.\nProvide technical support to client operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.\nConduct safety audits and inspections, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings and recommendations to client leadership.\nSKILLS/EXPERIENCE\nMinimum Skills and Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.\n1-3 years of experience in process safety, industrial safety, chemical manufacturing, engineering consulting, or related fields.\nFamiliarity with OSHA regulations, EPA regulations, and industry best practices.\nExperience supporting PSM programs, PHAs, HAZOPs, RMPs, or related process safety initiatives is preferred.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work directly with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.\nWillingness and ability to travel overnight, up to approximately 75% as project demands require.\nPreferred Skills:\nEIT certification\n\nWhy Join EnSafe?\n Employee-Owned AdvantageEnSafe is 100% employee-owned, with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) since 1997.
