If so, we’d like to talk with you about growing with us.\nWe are currently seeking two (2) full-time Project Manager, Environmental Construction to join EnSafe/GR2 in our Hartford, CT and Dallas, TX offices. This is an excellent opportunity to join and grow EnSafe, getting involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients across the globe.\nAs the Project Manager, Environmental Construction, you will be responsible for leading industrial decommissioning, cleaning, and remediation projects from beginning to end, for EnSafe/GR2 clients. This role oversees project execution, hands-on field operations and supervision, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, safety, and client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. \nGR2 is a wholly owned subsidiary of EnSafe our teams deliver technical, regulated work where safety, quality, and client trust come first.\nDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nIn this role, you will:\nSupervise field crews and subcontractors on industrial decommissioning, remediation, demolition support, and industrial cleaning projects.\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, and staffing from mobilization through closeout.\nDevelop cost estimates and support proposals, bids, change orders, and project planning activities.\nServe as the primary client contact for project communications, progress updates, and issue resolution.\nLead project meetings and coordinate activities among clients, subcontractors, and field personnel.\nEnforce site-specific health and safety plans and conduct daily safety briefings.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.\nOversee waste characterization, handling, transportation, and disposal activities.\nPrepare project reports, field documentation, and closeout deliverables.\nMonitor project financial performance, including costs, schedules, and resource utilization.\nMentor field personnel and support business development through strong client relationships.\nSKILLS/EXPERIENCE\nMinimum Skills and Requirements:\n5-10 years of experience managing environmental, industrial, remediation, or construction-related projects.\nDemonstrated experience with industrial decommissioning and industrial cleaning projects.\nExperience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, field resources, and subcontractors.\nExperience developing project estimates, proposals, bids, and change orders.\nProven ability to build client relationships and manage client expectations.\nWorking knowledge of environmental regulations, remediation practices, and field operations.\nStrong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to travel to project sites, typically 30-50% of the time including overnight travel as required.\nOSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with current 8-Hour Refresher.\nAbility to wear required PPE, including respiratory protection, and pass a respirator fit test and medical clearance.\nAbility to walk, climb, and work at heights or in confined spaces with proper controls, and to lift up-to 50 pounds.\nMust be comfortable with field work on active and inactive industrial facilities in all weather conditions.\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.\nPreferred Skills:\nOSHA 30-Hour Construction and/or HAZWOPER Supervisor certification.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management credential.\nExperience with asbestos, lead-based paint, PCB, or other hazardous materials abatement projects.\nFamiliarity with RCRA, CERCLA, and state remediation programs in Texas and/or Connecticut.\nExperience supporting federal, Department of Defense (DoD), or other government clients.\nExperience with PFAS/PFOA investigation and remediation projects.\nExperience overseeing waste characterization, transportation, and disposal activities.\nExperience supporting environmental remediation, demolition, or environmental construction projects.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field.\nWhy Join EnSafe?\n Employee-Owned AdvantageEnSafe is 100% employee-owned, with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) since 1997.
