EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.\nDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nIn this position, you will: \nSupport and lead engineering design efforts for site civil, stormwater drainage, industrial wastewater, and utility infrastructure projects.\nServe as a technical lead on a variety of projects, including civil site design, solid waste management facilities, landfill design, impoundments, and utility infrastructure improvements.\nDevelop engineering designs and deliverables to support regulatory permitting, site development, technical specifications, and bid documents.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate challenges and develop practical engineering solutions.\nParticipate in and coordinate design and construction meetings with clients, contractors, and subcontractors, including pre-bid meetings.\nPlan, schedule, and execute detailed phases of engineering and design work to meet project objectives and timelines.\nSupport business development activities through proposal preparation, marketing initiatives, project management, and ongoing client engagement as appropriate.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.\nSKILLS/EXPERIENCE\n Minimum Skills and Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license in the applicable state, or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity within a reasonable timeframe.\n10+ years of civil engineering design experience.\nProficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.\nExperience delivering civil engineering design projects for municipal and industrial clients.\nExperience preparing engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, permitting documentation, and bid packages.\nKnowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes and coordination with regulatory agencies.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.\nAbility to review and seal engineering plans and technical documents, as required.\nWillingness to travel regionally, with occasional national travel for client and project meetings.\nPreferred Skills:\nPrevious experience working within an engineering consulting firm.\nExperience with site development, stormwater management, industrial wastewater, landfill design, or solid waste management projects.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.\nExperience mentoring junior engineers and technical staff.\nExperience supporting proposals, client development, and business development activities.\nWhy Join EnSafe?\n Employee-Owned AdvantageEnSafe is 100% employee-owned, with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) since 1997.
