Relocation assistance is available to the successful candidate.\nAs an Environmental Geologist or Engineer, you'll play a key role in managing and delivering a wide range of environmental investigation and remediation projects while working in an environment that encourages innovation, teamwork, and continuous professional development. At EnSafe, we empower our professionals to expand their technical expertise, build lasting client relationships, pursue leadership opportunities, and make a meaningful impact for our clients, communities, and the environment.\nDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nIn this position, you will:\nLead and oversee project work associated with environmental investigations and remediation oversight.\nLead technical teams’ problem-solving, preparing plans and specifications, and meeting with clients and subcontractors.\nCommunicate with clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.\nDevelop Work Plans and/or Sampling and Analysis Plans.\nConduct site investigation activities, including sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, and drinking water.\nLead Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).\nCompile and interpret investigation data and write technical reports.\nEvaluate the feasibility of technologies, designing pilot/bench tests, and designing and implementing remedial/corrective actions.\nWork with senior Nashville staff to learn projects and clients and eventually assume responsibility for those clients.\nSupport marketing/business development efforts.\nSupervise and manage junior staff, following an appropriate period to learn EnSafe’ s culture.\nProject sites may include commercial or industrial properties, large and complex federal facilities, state government facilities, or military installations.\nSKILLS/EXPERIENCE\nMinimum Skills and Requirements:\nBachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited college in Geology or Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Environmental).\n10+ years of environmental assessment/remediation experience.\nHas obtained a GIT, EIT, or PG, PE in TN. If not already obtained, the ability to do so within 12 months of starting the position.\nExperience with Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.\nExperience in multi-media environmental sampling. PFAS sampling experience a plus.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders (environmental consulting experience preferred).\nProven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and provide mentorship or technical guidance to junior staff.\nStrong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nHigh level of professionalism, accountability, and work ethic.\nWillingness and ability to travel in support of project needs, including overnight travel.\nStrong focus on responsiveness, quality, and client service to expand, support, and maintain EnSafe’ s client relationships.\nSupport EnSafe’ s seller-doer business development efforts within Tennessee.\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities.\nActively participate in business development, including proposal writing, scope development, and client presentations.\nCurrent OSHA 40-hr.
