This role requires the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment in compliance with all applicable regulations, as well as company and client policies and procedures. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. \n*GR2 is a wholly owned subsidiary of EnSafe*\nDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nIn this position, you will:\nOperate heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders) safely and efficiently for earthwork, demolition, and grading projects.\nPerform daily safety inspections and routine maintenance checks on assigned equipment.\nEnsure equipment is properly secured and stored after use.\nAdhere to all workplace safety standards and wear appropriate PPE as required.\nFollow verbal and written instructions accurately.\nWork collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.\nSKILLS/EXPERIENCE\nMinimum Skills and Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.\nAbility to perform heavy lifting and manual labor in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold).\nWillingness to complete required training, work variable shifts (including weekends and holidays), and travel extensively.\nStrong time management skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and active listening skills.\nStrong commitment to safety and compliance.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Skills:\nFinish grade/top hat operator experience.\nWhy Join EnSafe?\n Employee-Owned AdvantageEnSafe is 100% employee-owned, with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) since 1997.
