EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. \nDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nIn this position, you will:\nLead multiple environmental and geologic projects, maintaining scope, schedule, budget, quality objectives, and client relationships effectively.\nLead and oversee field activities, including field documentation, subcontractor coordination, and health and safety compliance.\nPlan and coordinate environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, and remediation activities.\nProvide technical review and senior-level oversight of field activities, data interpretation, and conclusions.\nPrepare, review, and approve high-quality technical reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittals.\nApply regulatory knowledge to ensure projects meet federal, state, and local environmental requirements.\nCommunicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.\nMentor junior staff and support technical development across project teams.\nSupport business development efforts through client engagement, proposal participation, and identification of new opportunities.\nSKILLS/EXPERIENCE\nMinimum Skills and Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.\n10+ years of professional environmental consulting experience with strong knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.\nOSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (current).\nDemonstrated experience with conducting/managing multi-media environmental sampling (soil, groundwater, surface water, soil gas), environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II), state cleanup program, and remedial investigations, and corrective action activities.\nStrong technical writing skills with experience producing high-quality reports and regulatory submittals.\nDemonstrated experience managing projects, including budgets, schedules, and client communications.\nProven ability to lead project teams and manage client expectations.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and organization skills.\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.\nHigh attention to detail with commitment to quality.\nAbility to travel, including overnight travel.\n Preferred Skills:\nProfessional Geologist or Engineering license(s)/registration(s).\nMaster’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.\nDemonstrated ability to oversee and mentor junior staff.\n2+ years of related project management, financial management, or task management experience.\nExperience with the TDEC Voluntary Oversight and Assistance Program (VOAP).\nWhy Join EnSafe?\n Employee-Owned AdvantageEnSafe is 100% employee-owned, with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) since 1997.
