This role will oversee a broad range of delivery projects to fulfill the client expectations for hardware and software Lifecycle Management. This individual will be responsible for managing the teams that administer multiple Mainframes running on z/OS systems, using various technologies like Console/Batch Monitoring, Scheduling, DB2, IMS, CICS, Storage, etc.\nWhile direct mainframe experience is required, the successful candidate will need to rely on their business acumen, ability to build relationships, and strategic mindset to drive the team to successful outcomes.\nAs a relentless ally, be able to anticipate client expectations and incorporate needs proactively into client roadmaps. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator that can influence internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels. Relevant work experience will be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree.\nAble to manage up, down and across organizations, clients and/or functions.\nExperienced in diverse mainframe technical environments. Experienced in one or more mainframe infrastructure, hardware, system programming technologies and/or application development. Alternative experiences must include high learning agility to acquire mainframe technology knowledge and apply previous experiences to achieve operational outcomes.\nPossess communication skills to appropriately lead at the client/team/Business unit levels.\nExperienced leading complex projects and programs.\nMicrosoft Office skills including Microsoft Project \nPreferred Qualifications\nBackground in financial/banking industry\nKnowledge in one or more areas of mainframe discipline.\nITIL or ITSM oversight or expertise in Release, Change and CMDB\nKnowledge system IPL processes\nKnowledge of ISPF/TSO\nProject management methodology experience in PMI-ACP, PMP, PRINCE or PMBOK\nWhy Ensono?\nEnsono is a place to make better happen - for our clients and for your career. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs.
