These five traits are the key to achieving our purpose.\nHonesty - Reliability - Curiosity - Collaboration - Passion\nAbout the role and what you'll be doing: \nThis role requires a skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer with 3-5 Years of specialized technical experience to support, maintain, and enhance a suite of mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in various skills in mainframe technologies, middleware, databases, and DevOps practices, with a strong understanding of enterprise application support and acts as a technical lead, responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting critical mainframe applications while guiding junior team members\nDesign, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.\nExperience in enterprise-level ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Service Manager, etc.) and their operational workflows.\nWorked on waterfall and agile methodology projects; capable of handling - Incidents, Service Requests and Change Requests simultaneously.\nProvide technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex application and integration.\nConduct performance tuning and optimization of Mainframe applications and database queries.\nDevelop technical documentation (Knowledge Base articles, SOPs) for business and support teams\nUnderstand both functional and technical requirements and provide implementation/change options aligned with business needs.\nWe want all new Associates to succeed in their roles at Ensono. If you do not meet all of the Preferred Qualifications, we still encourage you to apply. \nRequired Qualifications\nEducation; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nExperience; Extensive experience in mainframe application development, support and maintenance\nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Experience with version control systems and software development tools.\nSoft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs.
