If you do not meet all of the Preferred Qualifications, we still encourage you to apply. \nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or computer sciences. \n20+ years of experience as an architect or equivalent in the hosting and network space (preferably with a service provider). \nOver 12 years' experience as a Modernization or Migration Architect, leading legacy system upgrades to new platforms with minimal business disruption. \nHands-on experience with Mainframe Application migration and legacy modernization projects. \n15+ years of experience with strong expertise across the mainframe technology stack, including COBOL, Natural, Adabas, Easytrieve, Db2, IMS, JCL, CICS, VSAM, RACF, z/OS, PL/I, and Assembler. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nProven experience in managing projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high client satisfaction. \nDemonstrated expertise in data migration, with a strong emphasis on understanding and working with legacy data structures to effectively convert and modernize them into modern database platforms. \nSkilled in evaluating mainframe legacy applications and developing comprehensive modernization plans. \nDemonstrated development experience with modern Java and C# frameworks, including designing and implementing scalable enterprise applications. \nAdditionally, has extensive experience working with Python, applying the language for scripting, automation, data analysis, and developing scalable backend systems that facilitate enterprise modernization efforts. \nUnderstanding of (and experience with) public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid solutions preferred.\nDemonstrated ability to understand and leverage Artificial Intelligence, applying AI-driven strategies and tools to modernize legacy systems and enhance data migration efforts. \nSkilled in identifying use cases for AI within legacy modernization practices, driving innovation by integrating intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and machine learning solutions to streamline processes and create future-ready technologically.\nWell versed in the hosting technology landscape including compute, storage, backup, network, security, DR, DevOps and IT governance.\nGood understanding of the sales process for large and complex opportunities. \nResourceful and confident in Crisis and Expectation management and confident under pressure. \nHas experience in technical documentation to capture solution components in a timely manner while ensuring acceptable level of detail, data integrity, and accountability. \nAbility to share knowledge and expertise among various organizations within the company and to facilitate teamwork among those organizations to better serve our clients. \nAbility to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. \nProficient with common office applications such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Visio. \nExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written and presentation. \nWhy Ensono?\nEnsono is a place to make better happen - for our clients and for your career. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs.
