These five traits are the key to achieving our purpose. \nThe Manager, Mainframe Systems Programming will coordinate and delegate the responsibilities of their assigned IT teams, as they pertain to systems programming. Oversee the day-to-day functions aligning with their Global Leader(s) responsibilities/duties while maintaining on-going project management and statuses. The Manager will oversee training sessions with resources so that they can be equipped with new knowledge and skills to remain current. Manager will do semi-yearly reviews, set yearly goals, aligning to the Business Unit and Company.\nHONESTY, RELIABILITY, COLLABORATION, CURIOSITY, PASSION\nWhat You Will Do:\n· Provide thought leadership within assigned tower and Business Unit\n· Provides Technical support for SW solutions.\n· Provide direction to Team Leaders and resources. \n· Possess communication skills to participate in client/team/Business unit meetings as well as providing documentation for client operational meetings.\n· Enhance the performance of others through mentoring and guiding.\n· Keep abreast of changes in standards, technologies or methodologies\n· Administer, update, weekly project management documents, aligning projects with client and BU activity. \n· Manage team’s ticket queue and following up on aging tickets\n· Provide risk assessment and risk management\n· Administer quarterly review(s)\n· Set quarterly and yearly goals, aligning to the Business Unit and Company\n· Review assignments for accuracy and quality where applicable.\n· Delegate responsibilities where applicable. \n· Attend/facilitate client/team meetings where applicable.\n· Collaboration with other departments\n· Develop, assess, adhere to completion of personnel, departmental, and company goals. \n· Participate in and provide timely responses to all internal and external audits\n· Participating in on-boarding of new client.\n· Own all facets of performance and career management for the team. Regular one-on-one meetings with all team members.\n· Provide both technical and ‘soft skill’ mentoring in order to maintain a well-rounded, well-balanced team. If you do not meet all ofthe Preferred Qualifications, we still encourage you to apply. \nWhat You Will Need:\n· 10 years of Mainframe Systems Programming experience\n· 5+ years of related experience within an IT Operations environment with a bachelor’s degree. Relevant work experience will be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree. \n· 3 - 5 years of management experience in related field\n· Good problem-solving skills \n· Self-motivated and have attention to detail \n· Ability to effectively coordinate and lead internal resources to accomplish key milestones\n· Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to deliver informative and well-organized presentations\n· Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills with ability to work and build relationships across multiple levels of an organization\n· Experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn quickly\n Other Qualifications\n· Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Teams, Sharepoint\n· ServiceNow, or similar ITSM tool, skills including Incident, Request, Change and Problem ticket workflows\nWhy Ensono?\nEnsono is a place to make better happen - for our clients and for your career. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs.
