And that’s just the beginning.\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in networking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting complex network infrastructures, handling major incident issues, and working in rotational shifts. This role requires deep technical expertise across routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ACI, and VMware NSX-T. This role contains 80% operational and 20% build and deployment work.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and maintain Datacenter network infrastructure.\nHandle major incident issues and perform root cause analysis.\nParticipate in rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 network support.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams for project implementation and support.\nSkills and Requirements\nRouters (Must Have)\nIn-depth knowledge & hands-on experience on OSPF, EIGRP, BGP routing protocols.\nGood understanding of MPLS.\nGood understanding of hardware of different types of router models.\nSwitches (Must Have)\nHands-on experience on datacenter switches like Cisco Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, 3K, 2K & Catalyst switches.\nGood understanding of switching protocols like FHRP, STP, VLAN.\nGood understanding of hardware of different types of switch models, SFP, Cable Types.\nFirewalls (Must Have)\nIn-depth knowledge of traffic flow through firewall.\nIPsec VPN, SSL VPN.\nHands-on experience on configuration of ACL, Security Policies, NAT.\nHands-on experience on packet capture and analysis.\nGood understanding of Next Generation firewalls.\nHands-on experience on Palo Alto or Fortigate or Cisco ASA firewalls.\nLoad Balancers (Must Have)\nHands-on experience on F5 or Netscaler or AVI load balancer.\nHands-on experience on configuration of VIP, Pool, Node.\nGood understanding of load balancing methods.\nGood understanding of Sticky session methods.\nGood understanding of traffic handling by load balancer.\nGood to have knowledge on Global load balancing.\nCisco ACI (Good to Have)\nGood understanding of Leaf/Spine architecture.\nGood understanding of Tenants, EPG, VXLAN.\nBasic knowledge on automation, Ansible.\nVMware NSX-T (Good to Have)\nUnderstanding of NSX-T architecture.\nUnderstanding of ESG, DLR, T0 & T1 gateway, DFW.\nUnderstanding of NSX Manager.\nBasic knowledge on VMware vSphere, vROPS.\nCertifications (Good to Have)\nCisco CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE.\nAdditional Skills and Responsibilities\nHands-on experience with lifecycle management, including software upgrades, hardware refresh activities, and maintaining network devices on stable, vendor-supported software versions.\nParticipate in major incident war rooms, provide technical analysis during outage situations, and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) activities.\nPrepare, maintain, and update Low-Level Design (LLD) diagrams and network documentation.\nReview and maintain CMDB accuracy, monitoring coverage, and device configuration backup compliance; identify and remediate any operational gaps.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with proven experience managing client interactions, facilitating incident bridge calls, conducting project review meetings, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.\nShit Timing - 24/7 rotational shift.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
