You will guide customers through cloud adoption, cost optimization, migration, modernizationand platform engineering initiatives, translating business and technical requirements into practical, supportable Azure solutions. \nThis is a senior individual contributor role combining hands-on engineering expertisewith technical leadership. You will influence technical decisions through your expertiseand collaborative approach, while taking accountability for delivering successful customer outcomes. \nKey Responsibilities \nTake ownership of technical workstreams from discovery and design through implementation, deployment, validation, and handover, coordinating teams, dependenciesand delivery milestones. \nLead customer workshops to understand business objectives, technical requirements, constraintsand existing environments. \nDesign and present secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective Azure solutions, solutions across IaaS, PaaS, container-based and serverless architectures. \nDevelop and maintainInfrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or Azure Bicep, ensuring repeatability, consistencyand compliance. \nDesign and improve CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms, incorporating source control, automated testing, security scanning, approvalsand deployment controls. \nDesign and implement secure Azure solutions aligned with customer security requirements, identity and access management policies, compliance obligations, and Microsoft security best practices. \nSupport cloud-native application platforms using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), containersand modern application deployment patterns. \nEmbed operational readiness, observability, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, rollback strategies and supportability into solution designs and implementations. \nPerform architecture reviews, design governance, and technical assurance activities to ensure alignment with customer standards and best practices. \nSupport incident investigations, root-cause analysisand continuous service improvement initiatives. \nContribute to customer proposals, solution estimates, technical presentationsand pre-sales engagements. \nMentor and support consultants and engineers through knowledge sharing, design reviews, technical is protected and accountability for technical decisions and outcomes is maintained. \nKnowledge \nEnterprise cloud architecture principles, including Azure Landing Zones, Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Azure governance models, and the Azure Well-Architected Framework. \nCloud-native architecture concepts, including containers, Kubernetes, and microservices, and the considerations involved in adopting them for customer workloads. \nThe trade-offs involved in cloud solution design, including security, governance, connectivity, availability, resilience, performance, scalability, cost, and operability. \nAzure platform and workload patterns and how to assess their suitability for different customer requirements. \nModern engineering principles, including automation, repeatability, secure delivery, testing, observability and operational resilience. \nResponsible Principles for the secure and effective use of AI in engineering, including appropriate data handling, contextual grounding, validation of AI-generated outputs, and human review. \nSkills \nAs a minimum, all consultants are expected to demonstrate the following: \nBuilds trusted customer relationships (including Azure Kubernetes Service) and microservices architectures. \nPractical experience delivering Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Azure Bicep and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or a comparable platform. \nExperience architecting and evolving enterprise Azure platforms using landing-zone principles, with a focus on secure connectivity, governance, resilienceand operational sustainability. \nTrack recordof leading technical discovery and customer discussions, translating requirements into documented solution designs. \nAbility to document architecture, explain design decisions and trade-offs and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. \nDemonstrated ownership of technical workstreams through implementation, validation,
