As a growing company, GummX offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, help shape how we work, and play a direct role in our customers’ success.\nAbout the Role\nThe Commercialization Project Manager will manage the customer journey from initial inquiry through product development, approvals, and the placement of production purchase orders.\nThis person will be the central point of coordination between customers and GummX’s internal teams, keeping projects organized, timelines visible, and communication clear. Success requires exceptional attention to detail, consistent follow through, and the ability to build strong working relationships with people across different functions.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage customer projects: Coordinate each step from initial inquiry and project scoping through development, sampling, customer approvals, and production purchase orders.\nBuild and maintain project plans: Track milestones, deadlines, responsibilities, outstanding decisions, and next steps across multiple customer projects.\nServe as a primary customer contact: Provide timely updates, answer questions, coordinate meetings, and ensure customers understand what is needed to move their projects forward.\nCoordinate internal teams: Work closely with R&D, quality, operations, commercial, and production planning to align priorities and complete project requirements.\nCapture customer requirements: Document product specifications, packaging needs, target timing, and other requirements, ensuring information is complete and communicated accurately.\nManage samples and approvals: Coordinate sample submissions, consolidate customer feedback, and track revisions and approvals.\nKeep projects moving: Identify delays, missing information, and competing priorities early; work with the appropriate teams to resolve issues and escalate when needed.\nSupport the transition to production: Confirm that required specifications, approvals, and commercial details are documented and available to the teams processing production orders.\nMaintain clear records and reporting: Keep project files, customer communications, and status trackers current. Prepare Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations for customer meetings and leadership updates.\nImprove the customer experience: Help establish practical processes that make working with GummX responsive, organized, and easy to navigate.\nRequirements\nQualifications and Skills\nStrong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.\nExceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with customers and internal teams.\nClear, professional written and verbal communication.\nExcellent attention to detail and dependable follow through.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including maintaining project trackers, organizing information, and preparing clear presentations.\nAbility to lead coordination and hold people accountable for commitments across functions.\nSound judgment, practical problem solving skills, and comfort working in a growing business.\nRelevant experience in project management, customer success, account management, or product commercialization.\nExperience in dietary supplements, food, consumer products, or contract manufacturing is preferred.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nCustomer projects move forward with clear milestones, owners, and next steps.\nCustomers receive timely communication and feel confident in the development process.\nInternal teams have accurate information and understand project priorities.\nPotential delays are identified and addressed early.\nProjects transition smoothly from development and approval to production purchase orders.\nPhysical Requirements\nSitting: Frequently, for computer work and meetings.\nStanding and walking: Occasionally, for meetings and production-area visits.\nLifting: Occasionally, up to 15 pounds, if handling product samples is a genuine job duty.\nBending and reaching: Occasionally, if needed to retrieve or handle samples.\nComputer use: Frequently to continuously throughout the workday.\nSalary Description\n$60,000 -
