You'll continuously develop your expertise across VAT, GST, gambling and digital taxes, anticipating regulatory change and translating it into a tax strategy that supports how the business grows and operates.\nYou Will:\nPrepare and file VAT and gambling tax returns for a variety of different jurisdictions (primarily UK and Europe) in collaboration with finance colleagues to help the business comply with its international indirect tax obligations.\nIdentify and implement opportunities for compliance process streamlining and improvement.\nAct as a trusted business partner: assisting accounting, procurement, legal, commercial, regulatory and other colleagues in understanding, in plain English, the VAT, GST and gambling tax considerations of their work and the impact on the wider business.\nSupport other members of the tax team with special projects, such as M&A, corporate restructuring, litigation, analysis of new products, and addressing the tax aspects of entry into new markets, and the launch of new products, to ensure compliance and optimise business decisions.\n You'll Have\nVAT technical experience, includingPreparation of VAT / GST or other indirect tax returns\nPartial exemption (pro-rata) calculations\nCross-border transactions, particularly services\n\nExperience of working directly with accounting / ERP systems\n2+ years of experience in preparation or review of indirect tax returns, including using Excel\nAble to rapidly understand compliance and project requirements, become familiar with systems and processes, and pro-actively develop rapport with a variety of colleagues\nProven experience in rapidly establish and maintain relationships with a variety of both internal and external stakeholders, such as Tax, Finance, Legal, Regulatory colleagues, external tax advisers and tax authorities\nDesired:Achieved or studying towards, or interested in achieving, a recognised tax or accounting qualification (such as ATT, CTA, ADIT, AAT, ACA, CA, ACCA)\nExperience with:Thompson Reuters ONESOURCE or similar tax compliance tool\nOracle Fusion\nAlteryx, PowerBI, or similar software\n\nAn interest in the gambling sector\n\n Benefits\nAt Entain, we know that signing top players requires a great starting package, and plenty of support to inspire you.
