Whether you’re an engineer, product owner or customer care professional, unlock a world of new possibilities - for you and the future of sports and gaming\n The Senior Infrastructure Engineer executes a range of activities using Automation, Enterprise Systems Management (ESM), and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) technologies, delivering important capabilities within the infrastructure landscape.\nComplete the implementation of high-level designs for stable network and infrastructure environments that meet Entain's needs, shares them with partners, and complies with current security, privacy, and audit requirements.\nProvide technical knowledge where needed to support managers, principals or technical experts to resolve issues\nCollaborate with application development, enterprise architecture, infrastructure and cyber security teams to develop and implement a compelling product roadmap\nImplement the automation and orchestration capabilities across the environment and establish procedures that promote efficiency, solving a range of daily user problems\nDeliver daily support to internal tools and system health, and infrastructure implemented for all projects and manages customer support contracts\nCollaborate with technical architects, using experience to translate architectural designs into operations\nDocument the processes, measurements, and assessments required for both personal and project work\nDevelop and shares with team knowledge on new trends and changes in infrastructure engineering\nImplement ways to improve working processes within the area of infrastructure engineering responsibility through data analysis, including network and infrastructure performance and health, to identify issues and areas for improvement\n Qualifications: Education & Experience\nEducation: Completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.\nExperience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in core networking.\n Language: Fluent English (minimum B1 level) is a prerequisite.\nTechnical Skills\nCore Networking\nNetwork Topology & TCP/IP: knowledge for designing and troubleshooting networks.\nDNS: Expertise in name resolution and application connectivity.\nRouting & Switching (Cisco/Juniper): Proficient in managing enterprise networks and ensuring efficient traffic flow.\nFirewalls (FortiGate/Palo Alto): Accomplished in network security and segmentation.\nAdvanced Networking\nExperience installing HAProxy / F5 in production environments\nTroubleshoot L4/L7 traffic flows and HAProxy / F5 configuration issues\nDDoS Mitigation: Experience protecting against large-scale attacks.\nApplication Layer: Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS for secure communication.\nAutomation & Scripting\nHands-on experience scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell\nKnowledge of: REST APIs (F5 iControl REST, HAProxy Data Plane API), Infrastructure automation tools (Ansible preferred), CI/CD pipeline integration for configuration deployment, Configuration management using Git\nMonitoring\nNetwork Monitoring: Familiarity with SNMP, REST APIs, and monitoring tools for proactive issue detection\nCloud & Remote Access\nCloud Technologies (AWS/GCP): Ability to design and manage hybrid or cloud-native network architectures using services like VPC, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.\nZero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) with Palo Alto: Implement secure remote access solutions based on Zero Trust principles, ensuring identity-based access control and minimizing attack surfaces.\nAdditional Requirement\nOn-Call Support: Must be available to participate in an on-call rota only when needed\n Benefits\nAt Entain India, we offer a strong package and the support people need to make an impact.
