This position will support strategic planning, performance management, data quality, database development, reporting, and program activities. The successful candidate will have demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power BI, and the ability to query, validate, troubleshoot, and analyze data supporting program operations and decision-making. This position supports the Policy, Planning, and Communications team and will regularly work with project managers and leadership across all regions of the country. Positive database technical support as well as understanding of environmental restoration goals are important attributes to bring to this position.\nDuties include:\nSupport strategic planning, performance management, and reporting, including data collection, analysis, performance metrics, quarterly and annual reporting, and development of data visualizations.\nCoordinate the writing and revision of business rules for tracking environmental restoration projects. Organize and lead team meetings to get input from database users on those business rules. \nPerform data management and QA/QC, including reviewing data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with established business rules.Query, analyze, and troubleshoot data used within Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power BI, and associated data sources.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, and visualizations to support program and management needs.\nSupport Power Apps and related data processes, including troubleshooting application data issues and identifying opportunities to improve data collection and workflow.\nSupport administration and enhancement of the Restoration and Conservation Database (RCDB), including user access, reporting, data requests, and data-quality activities.\nTranslate program and reporting needs into database, application, and reporting requirements and coordinate with program staff and technical developers.\nDevelop and execute test plans and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new or enhanced database and Power Platform functionality.\nDevelop data-related procedures, documentation, business rules, and training materials and provide training and technical assistance to users.\nAnalyze program data to identify trends, measure performance, and communicate program accomplishments and outcomes.\nSupport Restoration Center programs and workgroups addressing performance measures, monitoring information, data management, and business-process improvements.\nProvide data visualization, reporting, and other analytical support using Power BI, Tableau, GIS, or other applicable tools.\nPeriodic on-site meetings in Silver Spring, MD may be required, with regular remote work acceptable.
