In this role, you will support our lead BI developer and help maintain and enhance our business intelligence dashboards and reports, support the migration of legacy reports and creating new, high-impact Power BI solutions. You will interface with key stakeholders and leverage your technical proficiency throughout the migration process, as well as design and develop advanced interactive dashboards that drive insights and support strategic data-driven decision-making. This position requires a robust combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of data visualization best practices.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDashboard Development: Collaborate and support business units to design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders. \nData Integration: Partner with the data engineering team to integrate Power BI with various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and implementing necessary data transformations. \nAnalysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth data analysis to support business decisions, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations. \nPerformance Optimization: Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring rapid load times and intuitive user experiences. \nStakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nDocumentation: Create and maintain documentation for developed Power BI dashboards, data models, and processes. \nTraining & Support: Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and end-users on Power BI usage, best practices, and data visualization techniques.\nMinimum Qualifications\nExperience:\nExperience building dashboards and reports, business intelligence, and data analysis. \nExperience with data integration, semantic and dimension modeling, and DAX programming.\nExperience leveraging Microsoft power platform.\nImproving data processing speed by building SQL automations.\nStrong Understanding:\nData warehousing concepts.\nETL/ELT processes.\nData security implementation.\nAWS S3, Databricks Lakehouse, Azure Data Lake, SQL server, oracle databases.\nTechnical Skills:\nProficiency in Power BI Desktop, DAX programming, data modeling, and cloud integration. \nAdvanced SQL skills and experience with data querying and manipulation. \nStrong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with databases. \nFamiliarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus. \nCollaborate with the data engineering team to develop and maintain ETL pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for front-end reporting in Power BI. \nSoft Skills:\nWell-developed analytical & problem-solving skills \nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration. \nExcellent team player, able to work with virtual teams \nAttention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables. \nEagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. \nSelf-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal management supervision\nRequired:\nMUST BE US CITIZEN FOR GOVERNEMNT CLEARANCE OR CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS\nDesired Qualifications\nDesired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. \nPower BI Data Analyst Associate Certification.\nExperience with programming languages such as Python or R. \nUnderstanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services. \nGood experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts. \nClearance Preference:\nActive DHS/CISA suitability - 1st priority\nAny DHS badge + DoD Top Secret - 2nd choice\nDoD Top Secret + willingness to obtain DHS/CISA suitability - 3rd choice (it can take 10-60 days to obtain suitability - work can only begin once suitability is fully adjudicated)\nAbout Us\nFormed through the strategic union of Sev1Tech and ERT, Entarian is a premier provider of mission-critical engineering and technology solutions.
