This role is critical in facilitating team-level Agile practices while also contributing to the success of the Agile Release Train (ART). The ideal candidate will be experienced in Agile coaching, Scrum execution, and SAFe events, with a natural ability to connect with others, energize teams, and foster a positive, collaborative culture.\nJob duties include, but are not limited to:\nFacilitate ART-level Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Backlog Refinement, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives.\nGuide the team in becoming high-performing, self-organizing, and self-managing within the context of the ART.\nActively participate in and support ART-level events such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums (SoS), Inspect & Adapt (I&A), and System Demos.\nServe as a key liaison between the team, ensuring alignment with ART objectives and cadence.\nCollaborate with Product Owners and teams to support backlog refinement, story writing, and estimation, ensuring alignment to PI objectives and business value delivery.\nIdentify, escalate, and help remove systemic impediments through collaboration with other Scrum Masters, RTEs, and functional managers.\nFoster transparency and synchronization by radiating information via Jira, Confluence, and other SAFe tooling (e.g., VersionOne, Rally).\nTrack and communicate Agile metrics (velocity, sprint/iteration burndown, team health, etc.) to promote empirical decision-making.\nPromote a Lean-Agile mindset and SAFe Core Values by coaching team members, stakeholders, and leaders on Agile and SAFe principles and practices.\nFacilitate cross-team coordination and dependency management in collaboration with other Scrum Masters and the RTE.\nChampion relentless improvement by supporting team and ART-level retrospective outcomes and facilitating actionable follow-up.\nAct as a servant leader and Agile coach, continuously mentoring team members in Agile practices and principles.\nEncourage alignment with Team and ART-level Objectives, ensuring the team is working toward shared outcomes and delivering value every Program Increment (PI).\nLeverage an engaging and approachable demeanor to build trust, motivate teams, and foster a safe environment for open communication and feedback.\nBring positive energy and emotional intelligence to team interactions, helping to navigate conflict, celebrate wins, and cultivate psychological safety.\n* Required Travel 4xs per year (once per quarter) is mandatory\nMinimum Qualifications\nCurrently hold a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance\nSAFe Scrum Master/Advanced Scrum Master (preferred) or Scrum Master Certification (CSM)\n\nExperience with Jira & Confluence: user story creation, backlog management, reports generation and metrics analysis\nExcellent communication skills in the areas of listening, speaking, written and non-verbal communications\nMust be able to travel to US Navy facilities, East Coast or West Coast, to support PI Planning Events a minimum of (3) times a year, with the possibility of ad hoc travel depending on program specific needs\nDesired Qualifications\nDesired not requiredUS Navy Experience\nLocated in Charleston, SC or Norfolk, Virginia\n\nAbout Us\nFormed through the strategic union of Sev1Tech and ERT, Entarian is a premier provider of mission-critical engineering and technology solutions.
