The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for design, detailing, and documenting electrical and electro-mechanical systems used in Ultra High Purity (UHP) gas purification systems assembled at our facility.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDesign mechanical components and assemblies for new and legacy UHP gas purification systems. \nCreate concepts to be used in the development of new products. \nSize and select components as required to meet UHP gas purifier system requirements. \nCreate solid models, drawings, procedures and other required documents to support development of systems. \nPerform and document mathematical computations and other analysis as required to support product design. \nWork with component suppliers and operations to ensure products meet design requirements. \nAssist in prototype testing as needed. \nWork in a fast paced highly productive environment where projects and direction can change quickly while creating thorough and detailed designs and documentation. \nAny other duties as assigned. \nWhat We Seek:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree. \nStrong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, ability to analyze data. \nSolidWorks 3D CAD and 2D drawing experience. \nDraftsight/AutoCAD 2D CAD experience preferred.\nPYTHON experience a plus.\nJIRA experience a plus.\nProficient in Microsoft Office tools. \nExcellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. \nDetail-oriented and strong problem solving and decision-making skills.\nAble to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization. \nComfort and ability to work within ambiguity. \nPrior internship and work experience a plus. \nWhy work at Entegris?\nLead.
