You will be a key player on a dynamic, skilled project and operation team whose objective is to manage product/technology transfer project to Taiwan, focusing on equipment installation and maintenance within the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical engineering background and have hands-on experience with blending, CNC, or Lamination equipment.\nIn this role you will:\nMaintaining reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, and costs. \nIdentifying and implementing all necessary LOTO and procedures to ensure safe repair and maintenance of a broad range of production equipment. \nDeveloping innovative solutions to equipment performance issues within prescribed change control requirements. \nImproving equipment capability and delivering the necessary equipment availability to support required production volumes while maintaining and improving quality standards. \nDeveloping, documenting, and driving rigorous preventative maintenance procedures. \nMaintaining accurate and reliable equipment performance records and metrics. \nIdentifying and ensuring spare parts and consumables are available as necessary. \nCreating and maintaining accurate specifications and work instructions for equipment maintenance. \nDeveloping effective OCAP procedures. \nTraining maintenance personnel. \nLeading capital projects and ensuring projects are completed within budget and schedule while maintaining safety and quality. \nResearching and installing new tool sets according to planned schedule to add capacity in a timely manner. \nApplying experience and systematic approach to solve critical equipment issues. \nImproving tool up-time availability and utilization efficiency. \nIdentifying and pursuing potential opportunities for hardware capability enhancement. \nDriving defect reduction. \nTraits we believe make a strong candidate:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or related field. >5 years of experience. \nExperience with CNC equipment is preferred. \nExperience with blending equipment is preferred. \nExperience with lamination equipment is preferred. \nExperience with manufacturing equipment with programmable user interfaces is preferred. \nCapital Project management experience is preferred. \nSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred. \nExperience with SAP is preferred. \nYour success will be measured by:\nTenacity to drive teams and projects to world class performance in a timely manner. \nProfessionalism, integrity and high degree of accountability. \nAbility to collaborate with individuals at all levels and functional groups within the organization. \nAbility to recognize potential risks and to develop mitigation plans. \nDrive to create new solutions and inspire others -
