The role requires strong collaboration with Commodity Management, Operations, R&D, Customer Quality, and global MQEteams to ensure continuity of supply and resolution of internal and customer issues.\nIn this role you will:\nLead supplier quality activities forKorea-basedandregionalsuppliers supporting new product development and sustaining operationsforprimarilyinorganicand organicmaterial portfolios.\n\nAnalyze material-related issues and lead structured root cause investigations (8D, 5-Why, fishbone, etc.).\n\nOwn supplier quality performance, risk assessments, and improvement roadmaps for critical and strategic suppliers.\n\nDrive supplier performance improvement through audits, corrective and preventive actions, and process capability reviews.\n\nLead material qualification, supplier change management, and technical risk assessments.\n\nTechnical & Materials Engineering Responsibilities:\nUnderstand supplier chemical manufacturing processes and how material variationimpactsdownstream manufacturing and customer applications.\n\nServe as a technical subject matter expert in raw material quality management and process control.\n\nLead advanced quality planning activities includingSupplier PORdocumentation, FMEA, control plans, SPC strategies, and capability studies.\n\nReview and approvesupplierSPC systems, metrology approaches, and measurement system capability.\n\nPartner with R&D to support material development, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nApply SPC, statistical analysis, FMEA, and structured problem-solving independently.\n\nAnalyze and synthesize complex technical data to support clear, data-driven decisions.\n\nCross-Functional Leadership:\nAct as a technical leader and escalation point for complexsupplierand material quality issuesfor your owned suppliers.\n\nPartner with Business Units, Procurement, R&D,KoreaOperations, and global MQE teamsto ensure continuity of supply for critical materials.\n\nMonitor supplier performance metrics and communicate risks, trends, and mitigation plans.\n\nParticipate in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and lead supplier risk mitigation efforts.\n\nTrain suppliers on Entegris quality requirements including Change Control and quality system expectations.\n\nMentor and technically guide MQE peers to strengthen capability and consistency.\n\nQualifications / Traits:\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical discipline\n\nAdvanced degree (MS or PhD) preferred with focus in inorganic or polymeric nanomaterials\n\n7-10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, semiconductor, automotive, or other high-tech industries\n\nStrong knowledge ofchemical manufacturing,inorganic materials,colloidal silica, aluminum oxide, cerium oxide, polymeric nanomaterials, or related materials\n\nExperience in supplier quality engineering or manufacturingenvironmentstrongly preferred\n\nSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred;proficiencywith Minitab, JMP, or SAS\n\nStrong communication, project management, and organizational skills\n\nFluency in Korean and Englishrequired;additionalfluency in Japanese or Chinese is a plus\n\nAbility to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives\n\nAbility to travel up to 10% domestically or internationally, including travel to Korea manufacturing sites, regional suppliers, and global meetings as needed\n\nLocation: Suwon office,
